What is Delta 8?
Delta 8 is a type of cannabis product that exists in the space between marijuana and CBD. While it has similarities to both, it is its own product.
The product is a derivative of hemp. Delta 8 itself is what happens when the THC in legally usable THC is converted to Delta 8. Unlike CBD, Delta 8 is reported to actually make people feel a degree of intoxication. It is not quite as intense as marijuana, but users do report a mild euphoria and a change in perception of reality. A variety of anecdotal reports exist about the effects of the substance, with users reporting this type of high. For example, one user reports feeling energized and able to conduct more work. Others have said it helps them feel less anxious and that it reduces pain and anxiety.

However, thus far, many states have banned Delta-8, with more following, arguing that it is essentially a drug. Furthermore, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration has proposed banning Delta 8, so how long the product is on the market may be in the air. However, for the moment, unless you live in a state in which Delta 8 has been banned, its purchase, use, and transportation are perfectly legal.
Like CBD products, Delta 8 is available in many forms. These include edibles like gummies, vape cartridges, tinctures, and smokable rocks.

This place, the Downtown Smoke Shop that my friend frequents, has a variety of everything you'd need for smoking be it the tobacco itself, lighters, filters, glass ware, cleaners, t-shirts, Kratom (can I say that? oh well I just told ya!) Soda and munchies, it's like your corner store with more. The gentleman behind the glass was very kind and busy, and patient with me as I did my forgetting and buying things 3 different times (I think i had a senior moment!) It's a good little store right downtown, right on a busy spot of bus lines and the light rail, definitely worth the stop if you have the time and need something on the go.

I appreciate place..convenient location..friendly owner/workers..clean and selection is great..can be a bit congested outside with interesting characters..but they keep it in line..and welcoming..unfortunate the hours a bit short..but considering it's dt stp..it works..I always leave with a story and a smile..thanks guys

This store is selling CBD oils with cracked seals. They told me ALL of them are like this, refused to refund me and hung up on me. These products are not safe to ingest because there is no way of telling if they have been tampered with. All other CBD products come with an intact seal. Do not purchase CBD products from this store.
Just contacted the CBD company, the seals on these products are not supposed to be broken into pieces (the geniuses at downtown smoke told me this is normal). Something shady is going on, be careful with this shop.

I would give it a five but, I wish they opened at 7 am for the working ppl that have to be at work early. Over all it's a nice place for your tobacco needs.Please consider opening up earlier.
