What is Delta 8?
Delta 8 is a type of cannabis product that exists in the space between marijuana and CBD. While it has similarities to both, it is its own product.
The product is a derivative of hemp. Delta 8 itself is what happens when the THC in legally usable THC is converted to Delta 8. Unlike CBD, Delta 8 is reported to actually make people feel a degree of intoxication. It is not quite as intense as marijuana, but users do report a mild euphoria and a change in perception of reality. A variety of anecdotal reports exist about the effects of the substance, with users reporting this type of high. For example, one user reports feeling energized and able to conduct more work. Others have said it helps them feel less anxious and that it reduces pain and anxiety.

However, for the moment, unless you live in a state in which Delta 8 has been banned, its purchase, use, and transportation are perfectly legal.
Like CBD products, Delta 8 is available in many forms. These include edibles like gummies, vape cartridges, tinctures, and smokable rocks.

Such a landmark! Over 80 years in business. Old fashioned compound pharmacy in the heart of Mt. Pleasant Old Village. Tough parking. They will make you whatever you need. Usually on the spot. The answering machine gives the pharmacists cell phone number in case of emergency. Also, neat to see kids come in after school and put things on their parents tab! Who does this anymore?! There's a lunch counter and ice cream inside as well. Oh, dogs are ok too!

Don’t go for the food. Unless you like your hamburger cooked in a microwave. There is no “old fashioned soda fountain” either. Very misleading. Go because the pharmacy is amazing and it’s a cool tourist area to visit, but please for the love of God do not go for the food. You will be extremely disappointed.

searched high and low for a compounding pharmacy, and low and behold there was one right here in Mount Pleasant. I've been using this pharmacy for six months now, and it is the most adorable, helpful, friendly pharmacy you could imagine. they even make my dogs medicine pork flavored, and she loves it. Where else can you pick up medicine, get a hotdog, and sit down and chat on a beautiful day.
