Our co-founder, Nick Fishenden, moved from the UK to California in 2008 to attend the Golf Academy of America. There, he obtained a degree in Golf Management and went on to start his career as a budding touring professional, playing on the Gateway Tour and attending Q-School for several years.
Sadly, a career-ending back condition and further injury resulted in Nick having to rethink his long-term future, at which point he joined the world’s largest and most established CBD company, where he eventually fulfilled the role as their International Senior Account Manager.
It was through this personal experience that he developed an in-depth knowledge of the rapidly developing CBD industry, becoming a leading advocate of the science and the benefits to be derived for amateur and professional golfers alike.
In June of 2019, Nick approached his father, Neil, with his ideas for On The Green CBD. As a career entrepreneur, having led several start-ups and decades spent developing sales operations around the world, Neil easily recognized the extraordinary potential for CBD within the golfing industry.
With Nick's knowledge of the CBD markets and Neil's experience and expertise in international investment, along with their combined passion for golf, the two are uniquely set to position On The Green CBD as the authority of CBD wellness for golfers of all ages and abilities all around the world.
