What is Delta 8?
Delta 8 is a type of cannabis product that exists in the space between marijuana and CBD. While it has similarities to both, it is its own product.
The product is a derivative of hemp. Delta 8 itself is what happens when the THC in legally usable THC is converted to Delta 8. Unlike CBD, Delta 8 is reported to actually make people feel a degree of intoxication. It is not quite as intense as marijuana, but users do report a mild euphoria and a change in perception of reality. A variety of anecdotal reports exist about the effects of the substance, with users reporting this type of high. For example, one user reports feeling energized and able to conduct more work. Others have said it helps them feel less anxious and that it reduces pain and anxiety.
Delta 8 exists in an interesting legal space between marijuana and hemp. It is currently legal at the federal level – or at least it isn’t illegal. However, thus far, many states have banned Delta-8, with more following, arguing that it is essentially a drug. Furthermore, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration has proposed banning Delta 8, so how long the product is on the market may be in the air. However, for the moment, unless you live in a state in which Delta 8 has been banned, its purchase, use, and transportation are perfectly legal.
Like CBD products, Delta 8 is available in many forms. These include edibles like gummies, vape cartridges, tinctures, and smokable rocks.

Unlike others that are selling all kinds of CBD's from hundreds of different suppliers, Kathy focuses on supplying only the highest quality CBD products that she can find. And don't worry, that doesn't mean higher prices. In fact, I have found Carolina Hemp Company to have very competitive prices.
Furthermore, Kathy is a highly trained professional who takes her job very seriously and is more than happy to make suggestions for your needs. I live in North Knoxville and instead of visiting the 5 within 2 miles of me, I drive out to her shop for all my CBD needs.
Another great feature of Kathy's shop is it's a dog friendly location. If you're lucky, you may even get to meet Lincoln!

Just look at what has come to Knoxville! I went here to buy a chair off of Facebook and walked into this fabulous store! Kathy has decorated this place in clean lines with warm accents. The aura is fresh and cheerful.
Carolina Hemp is a full-spectrum hemp (you get all the health benefits) with NO pesticides. How nice is that?
This place has everything you can think of! - tasty gummies, assorted teas, the most delicious sauces for marinating whatever, clothes & hats (some hemp & others soft soft cotton), hemp wallets, amazing candles, treats for pets and products to help their ailments (horses, dogs & kitties), stuff for people ailments too and of course, products to smoke to put you in whatever mood you might be looking for, refreshing energy drinks, etc. There is just too much to mention.
Chat with Kathy. She knows her stuff, has a very interesting back ground and is very nice. She gave up her career because she believes in these products that much.
I'm glad I bought the chair but I'm even more pleased to have discovered this gem of a place. If you don't know about what hemp really is, open your mind and learn something new. You will be so grateful that you did!

Check it out!! This place has become a weekly/bi-weekly stop for me. Kathy has helped ease my body pains and aches in so many ways. For hemp related products, especially “smokeables”/edibles, do not waste your time going ANYWHERE else in Knoxville. Seriously. I tried many other stores with similar products in the Knoxville area and the products are lower quality and less reputable/trustworthy. Carolina Hemp Co.’s products are top quality and reliably sourced. Also, you will not find the warm welcoming vibes anywhere else in Knoxville. Kathy remembered my name on the second visit. I can’t remember the last time a business owner took the time to know or remember my name. Also her pup Lincoln is so cute and sweet and will always be there to brighten your day when you arrive.
