We are here to embrace all that keeps us from going insane in this crazy world. Allowing ourselves to live and think freely. To create art, to write music, to graduate from college, to ride a half pipe, catch a first wave, or just take a moment to enjoy life for what it is. I truly believe that our behavior and values have always been very different from the norm. Our industry has always believed that our businesses known as smokeshops or headshops were never meant to be main-stream. We are not a headshop. We are counterculture. We are a store carrying products for the ladies and gentlemen who enjoy living free of stereotypes.
What is Delta 8?
Delta 8 is a type of cannabis product that exists in the space between marijuana and CBD. While it has similarities to both, it is its own product.
The product is a derivative of hemp. Delta 8 itself is what happens when the THC in legally usable THC is converted to Delta 8. Unlike CBD, Delta 8 is reported to actually make people feel a degree of intoxication. It is not quite as intense as marijuana, but users do report a mild euphoria and a change in perception of reality. A variety of anecdotal reports exist about the effects of the substance, with users reporting this type of high. For example, one user reports feeling energized and able to conduct more work. Others have said it helps them feel less anxious and that it reduces pain and anxiety.
Delta 8 exists in an interesting legal space between marijuana and hemp. It is currently legal at the federal level – or at least it isn’t illegal. However, thus far, many states have banned Delta-8, with more following, arguing that it is essentially a drug. Furthermore, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration has proposed banning Delta 8, so how long the product is on the market may be in the air. However, for the moment, unless you live in a state in which Delta 8 has been banned, its purchase, use, and transportation are perfectly legal.
Like CBD products, Delta 8 is available in many forms. These include edibles like gummies, vape cartridges, tinctures, and smokable rocks.

I am so glad that I found this place!! Walking in, my top priority was a refreshing drink that included CBD! I had absolutely no idea about what I wanted to drink so I left the recommendinh up to Brad, the owner & he suggested their oh so refreshing latte! While waiting for my drink, I had the opportunity to witness his down to Earth customer service skills. We talked CBD business in Texas, he let me in on the why behind him opening his Lazydaze branch in ATX & how Coffee and the whole sip & double chill shop vibe got into the picture. To spare details & make your visit fun, my experience was great. The environment is ideal for remote work/work from anywhere professionals, content creators and anyone who's interested in having a CBD infused drink (or just a regular drink) solo or with friends. It's small with a simple setup, so for those who overwhelm easily this spot will do you justice. I do recommend starting with the lower amount of cbd/delta 8 added to your first drink here. While these infusions are not their cousin THC, they are paired with caffeine & drinking too much can still sneak up on you and give you crazy energy. So, midday visitors beware - unless you need an energy boost, stick with 35mg & under.

One of the coolest and most unique coffee shops I've ever been to, not to mention great cbd flower and d8 at great prices. Customer service is awesome, and the best part is you can have a coffee and enjoy a pre roll at the same time there. All around a place you must check out!

1week ago,Google hours: 10:00 a.m.Open.
30 min later..not a single shopkeeper had even arrived yet.
Last month someone wrote a review that at 11:30 a.m. nothing had opened.
This week Google says 9:00 a.m. Open.
This shop describes themselves as ‘counterculture.’
If they mean they open only during hours no-one would drink coffee, then yes.
If they also mean, they like to own a business but not run it, (such as opening it to customers), then again, yes.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in Austin. I called prior to coming and wasn’t able to reach anyone initially, but received a call back shortly after. I was able to get a few questions answered as I’m new to the whole CBD experience. Once I arrived the staff was very helpful and the owner assisted with any other questions I had! (And I had quite a few)! I will be coming to this location from now on!
